About The Role Our client is a Riyadh-based lighting solutions company that supplies lighting and lighting control systems to commercial, hospitality and residential projects across Saudi Arabia. They are hiring an engineer who specialises in lighting control systems (LCS) and guest room management systems (GRMS), to own the technical side of projects from design through programming, commissioning and handover, and to support the sales team technically. Performance is measured by the quality of designs and technical submittals, on-time commissioning and few faults after handover. Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (on-site; candidates relocate from Syria). Key Responsibilities Design LCS and GRMS solutions and prepare wiring diagrams and bills of materials. Prepare technical submittals and documents for consultant approval. Program, commission, test and hand over systems on site. Supervise installation technically and coordinate with contractors and site teams. Support the Sales Engineer in technical meetings with clients and consultants. Provide after-handover technical support and train end users. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics or communications engineering. 3+ years of direct experience with lighting control systems or GRMS. Hands-on experience with at least one protocol: DALI, KNX, DMX or equivalent. Hands-on experience with systems and brands used in the market, such as Lutron, Dynalite or ABB. Programming and on-site commissioning experience, not design only. Good English for reading specifications and writing technical reports. Ready to relocate to Riyadh, with a valid passport. Preferred Qualifications Experience on hotel projects or in the Gulf. Manufacturer certifications in lighting control, or KNX certification. Knowledge of integration with building management systems (BMS). AutoCAD. What We Offer Salary of SAR 6,000 to 8,000 per month, based on experience. Saudi residency (iqama) and health insurance.
