Senior Procurement Engineer

The Senior Procurement Engineer will play a vital role in managing and overseeing the procurement process for the project. This includes sourcing and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment, and coordinating closely with engineering, project, and finance teams. The role requires balancing cost, quality, and delivery timelines to support successful project execution. Responsibilities Review contracts and their extracted comparisons to validate the quality of taken decisions and provide guidance accordingly. Proactively Identify Relevant vendors for new projects to be able to choose the most suitable. Discuss the proposed project strategy with the management. Solve any technical, project related issues with vendors to ensure proper flow to the projects. Create monthly and quarterly reports to be presented to the management. Act as a trusted advisor to the project management to reactively & precatively manage all the procurement related challenges. Experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor management. Professional certification (e.g., CIPS, PMP, or CSCP).
