Role - Software Quality Tester JOB PURPOSE : SQA tester is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability and compliance of all software applications and systems used in the bank, with a particular focus on Islamic banking principles. The role involves testing Enterprise Fraud Risk Management System (EFRMS), Device Intelligence and Behavior Analytics. (DI & BA) systems and their interfaces like Core Banking, Internet & Mobile Banking, FOS/LOS, Payment. Systems like AANI and other channels to verify functionality, security and alignment with Sharia-compliant products. Tester to have strong technical testing skills combined with a solid understanding of Islamic financial operations and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities : Design, develop and execute manual and automated test case to ensure the quality of software applications Conduct functional, regression, integration testing for products and services. Validate modules in Enterprise Fraud Risk Management System (EFRMS) and Device Intelligence and Behavior Analytics (DI & BA) along with interfaces like Core Banking, Internet & Mobile Banking, FOS/LOS, Payment Systems like AANI and other channels. Reviews new or modified program, including documentation, diagram, and flow chart, to determine if program will perform according to user request and conform to guidelines. Recommend program improvements or corrections to programmers. Perform API and backend database testing to ensure data integrity across modules. Record, document and track defects using a defect management tool e.g. ALM, Jira Coordinate with developers to reproduce issues and verify defect fixes § User satisfaction is ensured in an error free environment. § Test coverage and defect detection rate § Collaboration effectiveness and documentation quality § Adherence to release schedules and QA standards § User satisfaction is ensured in an error free environment. § Problems are solved in a professional and timely manner. § Coordination between various IT Team. Identifies differences between establishment standards and user applications and suggests modifications to conform to standards. § Sets up tests at request of user to locate and correct program operating error following installation of program. § Awareness of change management process and Defects Management Process followed in IT QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: Bachelor of Computer Science or Information Technology Software Engineering or related fields. Preferred certification or coursework in Islamic Finance/Banking Minimum Experience: 3- 5 years of experience .in software testing or quality assurance in the banking industry Hands on experience in Enterprise Fraud Risk Management System (EFRMS), Device Intelligence and Behavior Analytics (DI & BA), Core Banking applications, Internet & Mobile Banking, Payment Systems, FOS/LOS and other channels. Proficiency in performance testing, test automation tools and test management systems. Familiar with SQL, API Testing and basic scripting Having testing certification e.g ISTQB foundation Level or CSTE Certified Software Tester Testing Skills Experience: understanding SDLC and STLC experience in Test Planning and Strategy experience in test case design Defect Management Testing types Knowledge Automation testing Personal Competencies Analytical mindset Excellent communication and documentation abilities Ability to work collaboratively in cross function team
