Job Description: Client Project Engineer Company: SOL Properties Location: Dubai, UAE Job Summary SOL Properties is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Client Project Engineer to oversee construction quality and finishing standards across its luxury real estate developments. The role involves conducting site inspections, monitoring civil and architectural works, identifying defects and coordinating with contractors and consultants to ensure all works meet approved drawings, project specifications and the company's high standards of quality and craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities Conduct regular site inspections of civil, architectural and finishing works to ensure quality and compliance. Monitor workmanship and verify that all works meet approved drawings, specifications and project standards. Inspect concrete works, blockwork, gypsum partitions, false ceilings, marble and tile finishes, wooden flooring and joinery. Identify construction defects, issue inspection comments and follow up on corrective and rectification works. Review material samples, mock-ups and finishing details to ensure they meet the required quality standards. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, project managers and other stakeholders to resolve site quality issues. Review inspection requests, method statements, and material submissions for civil and finishing works. Monitor project progress and identify potential quality issues that may affect project timelines or handover. Ensure compliance with approved materials, construction methods, safety requirements and project specifications. Maintain inspection records, quality reports, snagging lists and defect-tracking documentation. Conduct pre-handover inspections and follow up on snagging and de-snagging activities to ensure timely closure of defects. Verify the quality of completed works before recommending acceptance or handover. Ensure luxury finishing standards are consistently maintained across all project areas. Escalate recurring quality issues and recommend practical solutions to prevent rework and delays. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture. 8–10 years of relevant experience as a Quality Control Engineer with a contractor or Site Inspector with a consultant. Experience working with leading UAE developers is a plus. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, finishing materials and inspection procedures. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to manage high-pressure, high-value projects.
