Summary
The CNC Machinist’s primary responsibility is setting up CNC Machine for the given job, loading materials into CNC Vertical Mills, monitor machine during operations, deburring parts and performing quality checks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Set-up and operation of CNC Machines to convert raw materials to finished product
- Able to meet standardized production times related to product being made
- Monitor part quality and identify rejects
- May help train less experienced team members
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Ability to read tape measure and other measurement devices.
- Experience setting up CNC vertical mills, HAAS and/or FADAL preferred
- Ability to read blueprints
- General use of air and hand tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to use required PPE
- Ability to stand/walk throughout the duration of the shift
- Ability to work overtime based on business needs
- Able to lift up to 50lbs.
