Work Schedule: M-F, 8a-5p
A Call Center Representative will be responsible for answering all incoming calls for Georgia Bone and Joint and will either respond directly to the inquiry or will direct the call accordingly. The position schedules appointments for providers as well as obtaining necessary information from the patient in regards to insurance, required personal information, obtain any necessary prior medical records, and/or obtain pre-certification for the appointment.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a customer service-oriented environment with a high call volume. Organizational skills and able to multi-task is essential to succeed in this position. Candidate must be able to work independently and make decisions based on training and knowledge. Able to tolerate lengthy periods of sitting and repetitive keyboard typing. A high school diploma or the equivalent is required. Experience working in the medical industry is a plus.
