Pharmacist - Clinical Pharmacist Advisor (Medicare) Highlights
• The pay for this position will be $53.00 per hour.
•Business Hours:7:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday, and 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST on Saturday and Sunday (set rotation).
•Remote / Work from Homeposition.
• Must have adedicated, quiet workspaceand provide proof of internet speed meeting minimum requirements.
• This position isfull-time, contract.
Responsibilities
• SupportMedicare Part D members and providerswith pharmacy benefit and coverage determination requests.
• Ensureaccurate case setupand completeclinical review of Medicare appealsin compliance with CMS guidelines.
• Review clinical information and make appropriate determinations based on drug compendia and clinical judgment.
• Conduct provider outreach for additional clinical clarification when necessary.
• Accurately document all Medicare Part D requests and maintain compliance withCMS-mandated timelines.
• Meet or exceed departmentalproductivity and quality standards.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy orDoctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)required.
•Active pharmacist licensein the state of residence required.
• Proven ability to applyclinical judgmentand interpret drug compendia resources.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Prior experience inMedicare Part D,clinical review, orpharmacy benefit managementpreferred.
