As the Director of Nursing, you would have a multitude of important functions. Title: Director of Nursing
Location: Lower Westchester County NY
Salary: $180,000 to $220,000 + full comprehensive benefits
Responsibilities:
Overseeing registered nurses in our hospital setting
Involved with hiring decisions and performance reviews
Creating budget for nursing department
Working with executive staff to ensure patient care is of high quality
Developing policies and procedures
Implementing strategic plan to assist daily nursing practice
Work collaboratively with other healthcare workers such as Physical Therapists and MD’s
Documenting notes in EMR system when appropriate
Develop plans to make nursing services more efficient
Requirements:
New York State Registered Nurse license
BSN or Masters of Nursing Degree
Minimum 5 years of nursing leadership experience with pediatrics
Strong experience working in pediatrics
Good communication skills
BLS
