What You’ll Do:- Pre-Anesthetic Assessment:Conduct thorough pre-operative patient evaluations, including reviewing medical history, conducting physical assessments, and selecting appropriate anesthetic plans based on patient needs and surgical requirements.
- Anesthesia Administration:Administer and manage all types of anesthesia (general, regional, local, and sedation) for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.
- Intraoperative Monitoring:Continuously monitor patient vital signs, physiological responses, and anesthetic depth during procedures, making real-time adjustments as necessary to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Post-Anesthetic Care:Oversee patient recovery in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), managing post-operative pain, nausea, and other potential complications.
- Equipment Management:Prepare, maintain, and troubleshoot anesthesia equipment and supplies, ensuring all instruments are in proper working order.
- Collaboration:Work closely and effectively with surgeons, nurses, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal surgical outcomes.
