Seeking a Panel Shop Supervisor for a well-established company! Candidate ill be responsible for managing and supervising the daily operations of our workshop & production facility. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to lead of team of skilled technicians and fabricators
Job duties include:
- Will manage and coordinate the work of assemblers, providing guidance and support as needed
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to electrical wiring, assembly and testing
- Develop and implement shop policies, procedures, and safety protocols to maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address any disciplinary issues
- Order and maintain inventory of tools and supplies, ensuring that all equipment is properly calibrated and maintained
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and to address any technical issues
- Develop and implement procedures for the assembly of products, ensuring that all work meets quality standards
- Utilize a caliper to measure and inspect products and materials
- Work with schematics to plan and execute assembly tasks
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as electrical engineering or mechanical engineering preferred
- Proven experience in a workshop or production facility, preferably in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, and panel assembly
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and to manage multiple task simultaneously
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office.
