The Department of Economics at Cornell University invites applications for an Assistant Professor position in labor economics. We encourage scholars working in other fields (e.g. development, industrial organization, macro, trade) where labor markets are central to their research agenda to also apply. Candidates must have received a Ph.D. by July 2026 and must demonstrate excellence in research and teaching.

Pay Range: $83,200 - $185,000
Actual salary offers in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations will be based on education, experience, discipline, and relevant skills.
