- Be responsible for managing capital projects.
- Designing and installing new systems of a process nature to improve quality, safety and output.
- Assessing, supporting and troubleshooting systems already installed and utilised for production to increase uptime.
- Evaluate and improve processes in order to improve efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize profitability
- Chemical Engineering Degree
- 5+ years experience in the process industries.
- Experience carrying out Risk Assessments and utilizing process hazard analysis tools.
- Should have good all round project management skills, and be able to ensure completion of multiple concurrent projects within the stated boundaries of cost, time and quality.
- Good analytical approach to problem solving coupled with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to communicate and influence effectively at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Should have familiarity with process improvement methodologies.
- Should be able to offer expertise on process plant design, evaluation, and construction materials and methods.
- Should have working knowledge of OSHA and ASME.
- Practical knowledge of AutoCAD, in particular the production of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams.
