Our client, a prestigious full-service law firm with over 150 years of trusted legal service, is seeking a Tort and Insurance Defense Attorney at the Associate level. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in tort and insurance defense litigation. This is a full-time, in-office opportunity located in the firm's Bergen County, NJ office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in tort and insurance defense litigation matters.
- Manage cases from inception through resolution with significant autonomy.
- Engage in court appearances, depositions, discovery, motion practice, and trials.
- Handle direct client communications and develop strong client relationships.
- Collaborate effectively with other attorneys and legal professionals.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- Active New Jersey Bar admission is required.
- 5+ years of litigation experience, with a focus on tort and insurance defense.
