Job Summary:
This role is essential in maintaining a smooth flow of stock to production by receiving, storing, and transporting materials throughout the facility. While this position involves forklift operation, it isnot a full-time forklift role—team members will be on and off the forklift as needed to support daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fill requisitions for raw and base stock using written and oral instructions, including weighing raw stock on scales.
- Safely operate Sit-Down forklift and other plant material handling equipment to transport materials to and from production. (ex: pallet jacks)
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming deliveries; verify counts, check for damage, and complete proper paperwork for inventory and pricing.
- Transfer acceptable stock into storage areas and assist with regular physical inventory counts.
- Maintain and communicate lists of low-stock items to appropriate personnel.
- Monitor and manage non-inventory supplies such as carbon, cartons, and pallets.
- Coordinate with the Production Team to prioritize jobs and reorganize as needed to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate closely with team members to exceed customer satisfaction and service expectations.
