Summary
Dr. Ciara Freeman at the esteemed Moffitt Cancer Center is on the lookout for a talented Clinical Data Engineer with expertise in crafting Snowflake pipelines. Ideal Candidate:
- 3–5+ years building production-grade data pipelines in healthcare or biotech.
- Strong SQL + Python skills; SnowPro Core cert a plus.
- Thrive in small, impact-focused teams.
- Experience with healthcare data (EMR, lab, imaging, omics) is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain Snowflake pipelines powering real-time research and model training.
- Automate ETL/ELT workflows (dbt, Airflow, etc.).
- Implement data lineage, QC, and cost optimization.
- Collaborate with data scientists to ensure modeling readiness and regulatory compliance.
Credentials & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Informatics, or a related quantitative field with five (5) years building data pipelines in production environments (healthcare or biotech preferred).
- Or Master’s degree with three (3) years building data pipelines in production environments (healthcare or biotech preferred).
- Snowflake certification (SnowPro Core or Advanced) preferred.
