Overview

Intuit is seeking dedicated and knowledgeable Tax Preparers to join our TurboTax Live team. In this role, you will provide expert tax guidance, prepare accurate tax returns, and help clients navigate both simple and complex tax situations. You will also educate clients to improve their financial confidence while supporting Intuit’s mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare federal and state tax returns accurately and efficiently for individuals and small businesses.

  • Review client information to identify deductions, credits, and other tax-saving opportunities.

  • Provide clear and understandable guidance on tax-related questions and financial decisions.

  • Ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws and regulations.

  • Build positive relationships with clients, creating a professional and supportive experience.

  • Support community engagement initiatives and client acquisition efforts where applicable.

Qualifications

  • Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).

  • Professional credentials such as CPA, EA, or Tax Attorney are a plus.

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of tax preparation experience preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of current federal and state tax regulations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency with tax preparation software and basic technology tools.
