Part Time Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Compensation

  • The pay for this position is $74.87 per hour.
  • Benefits are available to part-time employees after 90 days of employment.

    A 401(k) with a company match is available for eligible employees with 1 year of service.

Part Time Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Highlights

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.
  • The required availability for this position is part-time, 17–28 hours per week, including every other weekend. Holiday rotations may be required.

Part Time Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Responsibilities

  • Provide primary and family evidenced-based care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated clinical care team to drive better outcomes for the patient panel.
  • Perform administrative duties including opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, and collecting payment.
  • Conduct routine examinations and speak with patients about healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Complete diagnostic tests to diagnose and treat patients for injuries or illnesses.
  • Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to maintain comprehensive plans of care.
  • Encourage patient participation in health and wellness services such as screenings, behavioral health, and chronic condition management.

Part Time Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in a Family Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current National Board Certification.
  • Active license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the state of employment.
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Nurse Practitioner in family medicine or primary care preferred.
  • Knowledge of quality measurement in chronic disease management.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, problem-solving, and able to work autonomously.
  • Proficient in technology and information management.
  • Willingness to obtain multi-state licensures.
  • Ability to collaborate frequently with colleagues to ensure quality patient care.
