Senior Technical & Functional Business Analyst

By joining our team as a Senior Technical & Functional Business Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless delivery of business and technical solutions, supporting both ongoing operations and strategic initiatives. We value analytical minds that can bridge technical understanding with business acumen to drive our clients' success.

What you will do:

• Leadrequirement elicitation sessions, translating business needs into detailed specifications and maintaining comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaboratewith clients and internal teams to investigate, analyze, and resolve complex client issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
• Developand execute test cases, validate system functionality, and perform third-party integration and installer testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Prepareand review release documentation, clearly communicating all changes, enhancements, and fixes to stakeholders.
• Workclosely with product owners, developers, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met and business needs are addressed.
• Identifyopportunities to improve business processes, system functionality, and testing practices.

What you will need to have:

• 4+ years of experience in technical and functional business analysis.
• 4+ years of experience in requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
• 4+ years of experience in analyzing and resolving complex client issues.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with technical testing, including integration and installer testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or equivalent military experience.
• 4+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.

What would be great to have:

• 4+ years of experience in the financial services or technology sectors.
• 4+ years of exposure to strategic project delivery and client engagement.
• 4+ years of experience with SQL or other data analysis tools.

Important information about this role:

• This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and lead to stronger productivity.
• You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Salary Range

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
