Key Responsibilities:
• Provide psychiatric consultation, direct care, and clinical supervision across multiple community-based programs (e.g., shelters, supportive housing, street outreach, ACT teams).
• Support the Medical Director in overseeing clinical quality, psychiatric provider performance, and integration of care models.
• Lead or co-lead team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions for psychiatric and behavioral health staff.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of trauma-informed, person-centered care initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal leadership and external stakeholders to support continuity of care and systems-level improvements.
• Maintain a small caseload of clients, providing direct psychiatric evaluation and treatment as needed.
Qualifications:
• MD or DO with Board Certification in Psychiatry
• Active and unrestricted New York State medical license
• At least 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in community psychiatry, public health, or homeless services
• Experience with supervision, clinical leadership, or administrative roles in behavioral health preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to recovery-oriented and trauma-informed care models
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus, but not required
