Job Description
EchoPark Automotive is hiring a 2G Smog Automotive Technician to join our team in Henderson, NV. Our Technicians enjoy guaranteed pay, a very collaborative and casual work environment, very different from a traditional "dog-eat-dog" shop. It's fun, fair, and a great place to work. To excel in this service role, you will need excellent customer service skills, effective communication skills, and attention to detail.
What You’ll Do:
The Automotive Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. Our technicians inspect and repair a wide range of pre-owned makes and models up to 12 years old.
- 190 Point Vehicle Inspection
- Lube, filter, flushes
- Brake system and tire repair
- Suspension and alignments
- Vehicle Drivability
- Air Conditioning Diagnosis and Repair
- Light Line work to include – Gasket and seal repairs, component replacement, water pumps, and alternators
- Occasional heavy line, engine, and transmission removal and installation, no rebuilds or overhauls
What We’re Looking For:
- Must be state-certified where applicable
- Must have 2G Smog Certificate
- At least 6 months of previous Automotive Mechanic experience, or Auto Tech School certification
- Own a set of tools
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Strong work ethic and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow directions and willingness to learn
- Respect for teammates and a positive outlook
