School Psychologist – Middle School (Maternity Leave Coverage, November–February)
Our Organization is looking for a School Psychologist to provide maternity leave coverage at a middle school from November 2025 through mid to late February 2026. This full-time, temporary role will focus on serving general education and resource students, along with those supported through 504 plans.
In this position, you will conduct student evaluations to support eligibility and planning, participate in IEP and 504 meetings, and collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to promote student success. Since self-contained programs are managed by another psychologist, this assignment centers on the broader student body.
Key responsibilities include completing assessments, providing consultation and intervention strategies, documenting progress, and ensuring compliance with district and state guidelines. You will also play an important role in fostering academic, social-emotional, and behavioral growth among middle school students.
Requirements
Applicants must possess a Master’s degree in School Psychology or Educational Psychology, along with a valid Illinois license in school psychology. Candidates should also hold, or be eligible for, a School Psychology endorsement granted by the Illinois State Board of Education.
