Position overview:
The Department of Healthcare and Family Services, Division of Child Support Services is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to fill the role of Executive I Trainer in the Account Support section. This position will conduct training for employees with a focus on policy, computer services and computer systems. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, previous training experience, and be well organized and professional.

Essential Functions
- Under direction, serves as a trainer for Account Support section
- Organizes, plans, and develops functions for the statewide child support system
- Researches program issues and compiles information
- Serves as a training liaison between the Division of Child Support Services (CSS) and internal and external partners including but not limited to Circuit Clerks, Attorney General's staff, State's Attorneys, legal representative, and other states
- Appears in court as a witness to proceedings or as an expert on difficult child support cases
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of college, preferably with coursework in business or public administration
- Requires one (1) year of responsible administrative experience in a public or business organization, or completion of an agency approved professional management training program
Preferred Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience conducting training in a professional environment
- One (1) year of experience providing and conducting presentations
- One (1) year of experience writing and developing training /presentation materials
- Elementary knowledge of Child Support rules and regulations
- One (1) year of experience utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint, MS Word, Excel, etc
- Two (2) years of experience utilizing a child support information system such as statewide database systems, CSNET, and State Disbursement (SDU)
Specialized Skills
- Requires one (1) year of experience conducting training in a professional environment
- Requires one (1) year of experience providing and conducting presentations
- Requires one (1) year of experience writing and developing training /presentation materials
Conditions of Employment
- Requires the ability to pass a national background check prior to employment due to accessing confidential tax information
- Requires ability to travel in the performance of duties, with overnight stays as appropriate
- Requires the ability to utilize state issued equipment, such as a laptop
