Purchasing is working to identify, procure, and implement an eProcurement solution. This solution will move us from manual processes to automated workflows. It will support vendor registration, provide an electronic bidding platform, allow for evaluation and negotiation functionality, and provide contract management capabilities. Additionally, our goal is to engage a solution that will offer strong data analytics and reporting to inform strategic planning and develop operational efficiencies. We are looking for an experienced individual to support this critical project and its related projects to completion.
- Gather and analyze current workflow documentation from as-is to a to-be state for e-procurement implementation.
- Conduct business process review based on interviews with staff and reviewing current documented processes.
- Work closely with the e-procurement Project Manager, Systems Administrator, Purchasing leadership, and various County stakeholders to prepare for and implement an e-procurement system.
- Manage process changes related to the transition from manual to automated workflows.
- Recommend, develop, and lead change management strategies impacting internal resources, agency partners, external vendors, and the public.
