What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”
Under supervision, responsible for day-to-day operations, month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes for the inventory and cost accounting functions.Prepare and post journal entries. Understand technical accounting and provide sufficient documentation supporting entries.Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and research variances for assigned accounts.- Manage the maintenance and periodic updates of cost accounting records.
- Assist with periodic physical inventory.
- Assist with B/S and P&L variance analysis including variances against budget and prior periods, providing detailed insights and actionable recommendations to management
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and internal management reports.
- Use accounting standards and internal company policies to analyze and propose solutions for accounting issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and support business operations.
- Assist with periodic audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited university or college
- 1-2 years accounting related experience
- CPA or progression toward CPA
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
- Public accounting audit experience
- Experience working in cost accounting function within a manufacturing or construction company
- NetSuite or other large ERP experience

Annual Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000
