We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper or Accountant with QuickBooks experience to join our finance team and play a crucial role in ensuring our operations run smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Process and review invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper coding
- Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery receipts
- Enter and manage accounts payable transactions in the accounting system
- Prepare and process check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation
- Collaborate with project managers and vendors to address payment inquiries
- Assist with month-end closing activities and provide supporting documentation
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a related role
- Experience in the construction industry preferred
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
