Work you’ll do
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Data Engineer to design and build scalable data solutions and AI/ML workflows. This role requires a strong technical foundation in full-stack development, cloud integration, and strategic leadership to drive innovation and collaboration across teams.
Key Responsibilities :Data Engineering & Solution Design- Architect and implement end-to-end data pipelines and AI/ML workflows.
- Develop secure, maintainable full-stack applications to support data and analytics needs.
- Design and maintain front-end (e.g., React, Angular) and back-end (e.g., Python, Node.js) components.
- Integrate cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) into scalable data and AI solutions.
- Lead technical meetings and align development efforts with business goals.
- Promote best practices in architecture, coding standards, testing, and deployment.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration for deploying advanced data and AI capabilities.
- Mentor junior engineers and support onboarding of new team members.
- Assist in workload management and ensure timely project delivery.
- Encourage continuous learning and professional development.
- Research and introduce new technologies and frameworks.
- Monitor and optimize existing solutions for performance and cost-efficiency.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field.
- 6+ years professional experience in designing and developing scalable data solutions and full-stack applications.
- Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility security clearance required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Ability to work full time onsite in Honolulu.
- 4+ years in AI/ML initiatives with workflow integration experience.
- 4+ years in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) including deployment and optimization.
- 4+ years in front-end (React, Angular) and back-end (Python, Node.js) development.
- 2+ years leading strategic planning and cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
- Strong technical expertise paired with clear communication to deliver high-quality solutions and support team development.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences and align business needs with technical execution.
- Proven leadership in project delivery and cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience deploying AI models and data pipelines in production.
- Familiar with modular data platforms and enterprise integration tools.
- Skilled in building stakeholder relationships and advising on technology strategy.
- Background in mentoring, onboarding, and documentation for junior engineers.
- Hands-on experience with Palantir’s Maven Smart System.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $119,025 to $198,375.
