Position description
Position: Health Sciences Clinical Instructor
The Department of Neurological Surgery at the UC Irvine School of Medicine anticipates openings for physicians in its various clinical subspecialties. These openings will be at the level of Clinical Instructor, in the Health Sciences Clinical Series (non-tenured track).
Criteria for the Health Sciences Series:
Health Sciences Clinical Professor series faculty engage in scholarly or creative activities which derive from and support their primary responsibilities in clinical teaching and professional and service activities.
The subspecialties include:
Neurocritical Care * Neurotrauma * Skull Base * Neuroendovascular * Epilepsy
Functional Neurosurgery * Spine/Complex Spine
Physicians interested in pursuing a one -year or two-year clinical practice will be given the opportunity to be a part of a dynamic department that provides care in UC Irvine Health clinical locations, including the UC Irvine Health Medical Center, a modern facility with state -of-the -art operating rooms. Continuation of position(s) contingent on available funding.
