Our office is looking for a part-time Dental Hygienist. We are looking for someone Tues 8:00am- 5:00pm, Wed 8:00am-5:00pm, and Thurs 8:00am-2:00pm. The practice has been established since 2010. We are a "digital" office with Dentrix software and Dexis X-rays.
***Hourly rate is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
Candidates for this position should be comfortable providing routine prophylaxis, performing Scaling and Root planing, periodontal maintenance, taking radiographs, applying Fluoride, placement of Arestin, as well as providing patient education and give instructions on proper home care for patients. The ability to administer local anesthetic (PA Anesthesia permit) is preferred but not required. As a smaller team of 8 team members, all clinical staff are required to help with sterilization procedures.
In our practice, hygienists typically get 60 minutes for routine care appointments and more for SRP. All equipment is new or in "like new" condition.
A valid state dental license in good standing is required.
