- 60% Inpatient, 40% Outpatient
Job Description and Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care across both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Outpatient responsibilities include:
- Clinic coverage on Mondays and Wednesdays where the APP will evaluate patients pre- and post-operatively
- Manage follow ups
- Collaborate with surgical team to develop care plans
- Inpatient responsibilities include:
- Conduct daily rounds
- Manage post operative recovery
- Perform bedside procedures such as chest tube and wound care, and also coordinate discharge planning
- Strong clinical judgement, effective communication, and the ability within a multidisciplinary team
Qualifications:
- Master's DegreeRequired
- ACNP, FNP, PA certificationRequired
- ACNP or PA with prior clinical experience in surgical services.
