The Department of Economics at Emory University invites applications for a faculty position in applied microeconomics at the rank of advanced assistant or associate professor, beginning August 1, 2026. The Department of Economics has experienced significant growth in both size and reputation over the past decade and continues to build toward becoming one of the leading departments in the country. The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in Economics; a distinguished record of scholarly achievement, demonstrated by publications in leading journals; an active research agenda; and a strong record of teaching excellence and mentorship at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels. Expertise in health economics is highly desirable, as the appointee will work closely with our strong and growing group in this field.
