The clinical resource nurse functions in a multi-faceted role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence in the practice of Nursing, patient and physician satisfaction. The resource nurse is responsible for maintaining high standards in area of specialty and demonstrates appropriate actions based on sound scientific research and evidence-based principles. The resource nurse facilitates needed supplies and equipment for surgical procedures, manages on-time case starts, and collaborates directly with physician to meet patient needs. The resource nurse is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures. The resource nurse provides physical, emotional and spiritual support that directly/indirectly impacts patient outcomes and care provided to patients/families/significant others. The resource nurse is responsible for knowledge and implementation of the mission, vision and values of Atrium Medical Center
Education
Minimum Level of Education Required: Bachelor's degree
Licensure/Certification/Registration
Valid Ohio Registered Nurse Licensure
CPR at time of hire
CNOR Certification preferred
