Our client, a prominentAmLaw 100firm, is seeking a skilled and motivatedMid-Level or Senior Associate Attorneyto join theirLabor and Employment Class Action GroupinTexas. This hybrid position is available in theAustin,Dallas, orHoustonoffices.
Candidate Profile:
- JDfrom a top-tier law school with a
- strong academic record .
- Bar Admission in Texas.
- 4–6 yearsof substantive experience inemploymentor
- class action
- litigation , with a
- desire for trial work.
- Experiencedefending employment discrimination,
- EEOC/DOL ,
- wage and hour claims, including
- class action lawsuits .
- Background in counseling employers onfederaland
- state employment law compliance ,
- drafting workplace policies , and assisting clients with general
- employment issues is a plus.
- Superior legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Defend employers in complex employment litigation, including wage and hour class actions and discrimination claims.
- Counsel clients on compliance with federal and Texas employment laws and regulations.
- Draft and prepare workplace policies, employment agreements, and severance agreements.
- Represent clients in depositions, witness interviews, and trial preparations.
