SUMMARY
The Sales Support/Driver role will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of materials to and from customer work sites.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pickup & Delivery of materials and contracted repair work from/to customer’s site
- Answering phone calls
- Respond to customer service inquires
- Providing information and feedback to the sales team
- Aptitude to learn on the job reciprocating compressors, parts, repair services and application requirements
- Timely and dependable on delivery and pickup commitments
- Performing data entry tasks as needed
- Willing to travel long distances throughout sales area day travel with potential for periodic overnight travel.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with our valued customers
- Deliver a customer first attitude and able to think critically to make decisions on logistic demands
- This is an opportunity to be the Cook Compression face to the customer, to represent that Quality Cook brand and to set the stage for our “can do” approach to customer solutions.
- Taking the extra step to ensure that our Cook Quality is delivered with a Quality presentation.
- This position will work under moderate supervision
- Problems are typically of a routine nature but may at time require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous customer service, customer engagement and/or sales experience is highly recommended

- Must have a clean MVR
- Must attend company provided driver training prior to operating a company vehicle.
