Job Overview
Intuit is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Tax Associates, providing expert tax preparation and guidance to clients across the United States. In this role, you will use your knowledge of tax laws, software tools, and customer service skills to help clients navigate their tax needs efficiently and accurately. As a Tax Associate, you will play a key role in supporting Intuit’s mission of "Powering Prosperity Around the World."
You will work directly with clients, either in-person at TurboTax locations or virtually, preparing tax returns, offering advice, and ensuring clients understand their filings while maximizing their financial outcomes.
What You'll Do
Prepare Tax Returns: Accurately prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals and small businesses, including deductions, credits, and amendments.
Provide Client Support: Answer tax-related questions, provide guidance on tax planning, and ensure clients understand their filings.
Utilize Technology: Leverage TurboTax and other Intuit tools to streamline tax preparation, calculations, and client interactions.
Ensure Compliance: Stay up-to-date on federal, state, and local tax regulations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to tax laws.
Build Relationships: Establish trust and rapport with clients to encourage long-term engagement and loyalty.
Who You Are
Possess active credentials such as EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or licensed tax professional.
Experience preparing individual and/or small business tax returns using professional tax software.
Familiarity with Circular 230 and tax compliance regulations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex tax concepts clearly.
Team-oriented, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
