Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, program, and optimize robotic paint applications using fan and multi-axis paint robots.
Configure robot paths, flow rates, and paint parameters for optimal coverage, transfer efficiency, and surface quality.
Support launch and continuous improvement of automated paint processes for new and existing automotive components.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and adjust paint systems to ensure consistent film build, color accuracy, and quality standards.
Collaborate with design, maintenance, and quality teams to implement process changes and corrective actions.
Maintain documentation for robot programs, process parameters, and paint system settings.
Conduct root cause analysis for defects such as runs, orange peel, thin coverage, or contamination.
Lead trials for new paint materials and application equipment.
Support safety, environmental, and lean manufacturing initiatives within the paint department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degreein Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).
