About USACSWe are seeking an experienced and innovative Physician educator for our next Residency Program Director at Allegheny General Hospital (AGH) within the Allegheny Health Network (AHN). The AGH residency program has been training EM residents for more than 40 years and has graduated Physicians who have become leaders in academic medicine and health systems. AGH is a Level 1 Trauma Center and the basis for the Emmy Award winning TV show “The Pitt.” The program has 36 residents who complete rotations at multiple sites within AHN’s ten hospitals. The AGH residents also do innovative training at AHN’s nationally acclaimed STAR Simulation Center.
We are searching for an academic Physician with a proven track record in residency leadership and a vision to advance a historic training program during a time of transition in Emergency Medicine residency training. Candidates must be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and have experience as a Program Director, Associate or Assistant Program Director. The Program Director leadership role has a competitive salary, 401K 10% company contribution (no matching required), excellent benefits, and professional development funds. The academic appointment will be at Drexel University College of Medicine.
