Position Summary:
Reporting to the Global Product Manager - Core Markets, the Associate Product Manager is responsible for providing leadership and creating direction on product line lifecycle, price and position analysis, and recommendations to maximize market share, profit and revenue across the Hydro Kitchen portfolio. The Associate Product Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure Hydro meets both customer and market expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute product line strategies for the Kitchen portfolio that supports the market and customer penetration objectives of the global sales team. This includes:
- Product pricing and margin maintenance
- New product development
- Life cycle planning for enhancement and obsolescence
- Product forecasts, inventory guidance and cost targets
- Conduct market, industry, and competitive analysis to develop specific value propositions for the assigned portfolio and ensure competitive market alignment; become the “resident expert” in the Kitchen market for Hydro.
- Define new product development opportunities and build a robust funnel of prospective new investment projects in both existing and new markets.
- Build business cases for new product opportunities through Voice of Customer (VOC) research and establish product specifications and design targets for these new products.
- Effectively manage and communicate product launches, product changes, and product promotions both internally and externally working closely with the marketing communications team.
- Coordinate the promotion of products and services to deliver profitable growth.
- Provide support to the sales force through management of technical support resources, identification of target markets/accounts, and support on virtual and in-person meetings and customer calls.
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field.
- 2 -3 years of relevant experience in product management, sales, or marketing (inclusive of internship or co-op assignments).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization both verbal/written.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Demonstrated analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to travel up to 25% based on business needs.
Work Arrangement : Onsite
Pay Range: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 annually
Bonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
