Job Summary
:
Pharmacy Technician will assist the pharmacist in all aspects of the medication preparation and distribution processes. Duties include preparation of medications for distribution to automatic dispensing cabinets, repackaging into unit-dose blister packs, and various medication inventory functions. Technicians will also participate in the documentation of medication histories of patient at the point of admission. Assists Pharmacist in performing routine duties in hospital pharmacy.
Requirements

High school graduate
Training and Experience: Preferably a graduate of Pharmacy Technician Training Program
Special Qualifications: Must Have Rhode Island Pharmacy Technician ll License. Skills in Math, typing, and computers are necessary.
Schedule: Per Diem, employees who agree to be available 6 shifts per month, including 2 weekends shifts.
