About your role:
As a Corporate Development Financial Analyst at Fiserv, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission to transform financial services through innovative solutions. As a partner in possibilities, you will analyze financial data, generate reports, and provide insights that influence decision-making and strategic planning. The Corporate Development team partners with business unit leaders, finance, legal, and external advisors to target opportunities, build business cases, and drive transactions from diligence through integration.
What you 'll do:
- Support the creation of financial models, valuation analyses (discounted cash flow, comps, precedent transactions), and accretion/dilution scenarios.
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives.
- Monitor financial trends and present findings to senior management.
- Evaluate financial performance of target companies and industry competitors by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
Experience you’ll need to have:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 1+ years of experience in financial analysis, modeling, and reporting.
Experience that would be great to have:
- Strong capabilities in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic analysis, including discounted cash flow, accretion / dilution, leveraged buyouts, etc.
- Experience with financial modeling best practices and industry standards.
