Job Overview:
Snelling Staffing is hiring aProduct Test & DemonstrationSupervisorin Louisville, KY. This role is key in overseeing the setup and maintenance of rental equipment and collaborating with Project Engineers to prepare, conduct, and analyze tests. We’re looking for a proactive problem-solver who thrives independently and can lead a team effectively. Key responsibilities include:
- Manage test materials (receive, control, return, dispose).
- Act as the Laboratory Safety Data Sheets (SDS) Coordinator.
- Supervise Lab and Rental Technicians, ensuring testing and equipment maintenance standards are met.
- Train Lab Technicians, Rental Technicians, and Co-op students.
- Handle electrical wiring for PLCs, controllers, motors, and other 3-phase components.
- Maintain a well-stocked lab for ongoing needs.
- Provide technical support for all rental and testing equipment.
- Oversee the repair, maintenance, and upgrades of test and rental equipment.
- Prepare and manage trade show equipment (shipping, setup, maintenance).
- Step into Lab Technician or Rental Technician roles as needed.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements for Product Test & Demonstration Supervisor:
- Minimum of a 2-year Technical Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Previous experience with mechanical and electrical systems is required.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities with both mechanical and electrical systems; ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Familiarity with controllers, control valves, transmitters, and process instrumentation.
- Strong communication skills, comfortable working with other departments, sales representatives, and clients.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
- Experience with forklift and crane operations.
- Ability to mentor and train other technicians and co-ops.
- A sense of urgency and ability to work efficiently.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
