DescriptionKforce has a client seeking an Controller in Wilton, CT. Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of 4 staff
- Lead month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely reconciliations of all accounts, (balance sheet, income statement, multiple banks, etc.)
- Hands on - "Lead by Example" complex account reconciliations, including cash, payroll accruals, and other treasury-related accounts
- Manage external audits with the CPA firm
- Manage & resolve discrepancies in financial records, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
- Assist with an ERP data conversion and "go live" process
- Support process controls and efficiency initiatives
- Work with internal teams to ensure financial controls and compliance
- Assist with audit preparation and provide support to external auditors
- Supervise Staff (4)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 8+ years of accounting experience with current staff supervision exposure
- SALT Tax and Sales & Use tax exposure
- Multi-entity accounting & reconciliation experience
- ERP software experience and Advanced Excel skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
