Maintains environmental and infection control standards and regulatory requirements within the established policies and procedures and performs a variety of general cleaning tasks to maintain patient care and non patient care areas.Job Duties
- Straightens and picks up trash in restrooms, sinks, showers, toilets, plumbing fixtures, mirrors, and surfaces, and replenishes soap and paper products.
- Vacuums carpets, sweeps and mops floors on a routine basis.
- Dusts vents and polishes all furniture in common areas and patients rooms daily.
- Cleans and polishes fire extinguishers and ice machines weekly.
- Coordinates housekeeping services with other departments.
- Cleans all bathrooms and toilet bowls daily.
