Center For Family Services' Mosaic Early Learning Program is seeking an experienced, professional Teacher. The Teacher oversees the daily operations of planning, carrying out activities, maintaining the classroom environment and supervising staff, children, parent/teacher conferences, and classroom volunteers. The Teacher encourages the involvement of families and arranges parent/teacher conferences, assists students in completing assignments, works in small groups and supervises children during meal times. Positions are available at our Burlington, New Jersey Location.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Teacher treats colleagues and students as individuals with respect and dignity. This individual promotes and provides culturally competent client care and staff interactions that respond respectfully to the strengths and skills of diverse ethnicities, cultures, and other diversity-related factors. The Teacher plans learning experiences, including field trips, that advance the intellectual and physical development of children while establishing a safe, healthy and organized learning environment. The Teacher provides leadership to staff and promotes a sense of agency with co-workers. They complete documentation and reports and assure the safety of State and Federal compliance at all times. The Teacher completes 15 hours annually of professional development, attends all required staff meetings and activities, reviews progress in professional development and growth objectives with supervisor and discusses any issues only with designated appropriate staff. The Teacher reports any suspected child/elder abuse and neglect per New Jersey's guidelines and conducts self as a role model in interactions with staff, colleagues and funding sources in accordance with Center For Family Services' Code of Ethics.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma required
- Associates Degree preferred with Early Childhood Credit
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with Early Childhood Credit
- 2 years of supervisory experience working in a classroom setting
- Must meet current Mosaic Early Learning Mandates
- Maintains First Aid and CPR certifications
