Elementary 31A Instructional Classroom Aide
Work Year/Hours: 10 ½ Months – Up to 7 hours plus 30-minute lunch/day
Location: To Be Determined
Start Date: Immediately
Salary: $16.36 – $17.78 per hour in 3 Steps
This position is based on the availability of Grant Funding and is a year-to-year position.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Successful experience working with students
- Ability to accept and work with a wide range of student behaviors
- Good physical health
- Record of excellent attendance
- Such additional or alternative qualifications as may be determined by the Board of Education
Sample Qualifications:
- Work at the direction of the teacher to assist and supervise students
- Assist with management of student behavior
- Assist in lunchroom program
- Assist in reinforcing programs set up for special problems
- Dispense medication as may be assigned
- Perform other duties as may be assigned
