Description
Team Fishel ,the Best Choice in utility construction, is hiring a Fleet Mechanic for our Manassas, VA office. The successful candidate will be experienced in Preventative Maintenance and repair of construction equipment including Backhoe, Excavator, Truck and HDD equipment. Experience in Diesel, Hydraulic and Electrical systems is a plus.
Requirements
Must have experience with commercial truck and trailer DOT and PM inspection and repair
Experience with basic truck and trailer electrical diagnostics and repair is required
Experience with chassis and air brake knowledge and repair experience are required
Experience with maintaining Vermeer and/ or Ditch Witch directional boring equipment is desirable
Welding and fabrication experience preferred
A valid CDL-A Driver's License required
Possible overnight travel may be required
Starting pay rate is $27 - $30 / hour depending upon experience
