Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (Outpatient)

DEA License | Outpatient | $100K–$150K+ Bonus | Onsite

Location: Glenwood Springs, CO

Must-Haves:

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing (NP) or completion of accredited PA program

  • Active and

  • unrestricted APN or PA license in Colorado (DORA)
  • Current DEA license
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
  • Minimum 2 years of NP/PA experience, with preference for cardiology or related specialties
  • Ability to function independently in a high-volume outpatient and inpatient setting

  • Strong cardiovascular assessment and diagnostic skills

Preferred:

  • 2+ years of outpatient cardiology NP experience
  • Experience in high-volume clinics performing heart procedures and stress testing

This full-time role offers the perfect blend of inpatient and outpatient care, where you'll play a key role in providing comprehensive cardiac services—from assessments and consults to supervising advanced testing procedures.

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct

  • comprehensive cardiovascular assessments
  • and manage care plans
  • Perform

  • inpatient rounding and outpatient clinic consultations
  • Supervise

  • stress testing
  • (echo, nuclear, exercise, dobutamine) and tilt table tests
  • Identify and communicate complications proactively

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care

  • Serve as a clinical resource and promote the health potential of each patient
