Front Desk
Objectives:To warmly greet the current and potential member and contribute assistance by answering questions, providing them with necessary information and ensuring them a pleasant visit.
Reports to:Front Desk Manager
Expectations:
1. Arrive five to ten minutes early to read and sign the communication log.
2. Dress in appropriate attire to include nametag.
3. Clock in under employee number.
4. Smile and greet members and guests by name upon entering club in a pleasant and cordial manner.
5. Understand and implement guest policy.
6. Monitor member check in by checking their membership card and photo id.
7. Understand and administer the "UPS" system for the membership directors.
8. Efficiently answer phone within three rings and direct all incoming calls appropriately.
9. Properly take phone messages. Make sure to always include name and phone number. Initial all messages.
10. Record all reservations with a name and phone number and your initials.
11. Take names on sign-up sheet for the Strive class, Cycle class up to two days in advance.
12. Correctly process transactions on register.
13. Attend mandatory monthly Department meeting.
14. Attend mandatory every other month All Staff meeting.
15. Inform all members of upcoming activities, promotions, and policy changes.
16. Maintain a clean and attractive front desk area.
17. Prepare new member packets.
18. Prepare and log status forms.
19. Cross train in the Cafe.
