Starting pay $22hr. up to $23hr after 60 days at $24hr+ once hired on full time

Join our team and put your hands-on skills to work! We're looking for someone experienced in carpentry, roofing repairs, and general maintenance to handle a variety of tasks

Carpenter Details:

  • Performs routine and general carpentry maintenance on such items as stairs, walkways, decks, carports, walls, fences, signs, and trellis.
  • Responds to resident work requests for general maintenance or repairs as instructed.
  • Removes, cleans, and replaces gutters, siding, and fascia boards.
  • Makes permanent or temporary repairs to roofs, both flat and shingle.
  • This includes the ability to make detail repairs to flashing, caulk window leaks, and bull flat deck leaks.
  • Erects framework for structures and lays subflooring. Installs glass in windows, doors and partitions.
  • Replaces damaged ceiling tile, floor tile, and wall coverings.
  • Performs painting projects as requested including prep work and cleanup.
  • Install items such as window shades, venetian blinds, and curtain rods, ceiling fans, and door locks.
  • Constructs forms, pours and finishes concrete.
  • Builds, repairs, and installs counters, cabinets, benches, partitions, floors, doors, building framework, and trim

Carpenter Qualifications:

  • Ability to handle all levels of power tools such as circular saw, power gun nailer, compressor, stapler, etc.
  • Ability to effectively use manual and power tools while working from a ladder at a height up to thirty (30) feet.
  • Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds in the course of daily duties.
  • Ability to accurately estimate time and materials required for the performance of all tasks assigned.
  • Knowledge of techniques for the proper cleaning, maintenance and repair of power tool equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
