Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Construct and dismantle wood and metal concrete forms.
- Accurately read and interpret blueprints, plans, and drawings.
- Measure, cut, and assemble formwork using tools such as saws, hammers, drills, nail guns, levels, and squares.
- Set forms to correct dimensions using string lines, laser levels, and hand tools.
- Install proper bracing and shoring to ensure structural integrity during concrete pours.
- Monitor forms during pours and stop work if issues arise (e.g., leaks, shifting).
- Repair, clean, and prep forms for reuse after concrete sets.
- Coordinate with other trades, including rebar installers and finishers.
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a form carpenter in heavy or commercial concrete construction.
- Proficient with wood and metal form systems.
- Able to read and understand construction blueprints.
- Skilled in layout and measuring with laser levels, tape measures, etc.
