PURPOSE:
To provide excellent supervisory leadership, efficient management and creative problem-solving, in the forge or process operations. Effectively interface with all levels of personnel throughout the North Grafton, MA facility.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Ensuring consistent quality standards and procedures up and down work chain.
- Drive production through the utilization of the Forge Crew or Process employees to meet all operation’s metrics.
- Manufacturing analysis to reach peak efficiency.
- Manufacturing improvement/refinement review.
- Identifying new opportunities to impact business and operations goals positively.
- Manufacturing directs and coordinates forging plant operations-based policies, objectives, and programs spanning manufacturing functions.
- Manage a union workforce and hold accountable to all WG quality, safety and production procedures.
- Determines performance and product quality and has direct accountability for that performance.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Broad knowledge of forging, mechanical or material science engineering, finance and business administration.
- S./ B.A (engineering discipline preferred) or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in Heavy Manufacturing (Steel making, automotive or forging preferred)
- Union shop experience preferred
- Ability to work a rotational shift schedule, day and nights

- Ability to drive production in a fast-paced stressful environment.
- Rotating shift coverage required
- Ability to manage multiple, often changing, priorities
For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $60,000 to $100,000 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 2X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter . Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 11 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
